Behind the Scenes Tour at the Long Island Aquarium

Go behind-the-scenes to see firsthand what is involved in creating a hospitable environment for the aquariums aquatic residents and our visitors. Learn about the science behind all the systems and procedures necessary to keep the aquarium’s live animal exhibits up and running every day. You can even feed their clownfish!

There is a $5 fee per participant for this program, payable to the Aquarium. Registration is limited. This program is for adults, teens, and children age 10 and older.

Please note that, as mandated by the latest State Executive Order regarding COVID-19 safety precautions, our outdoor nature walks and programs will at all times follow stringent six-feet distancing separation protocols required by the Department of Health for the safety of our participants and environmental educators. We will provide masks and gloves for all attendees.

Winter Break Fun-Cation Camp

February 15 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Working during the Winter Break?  Drop your kids off for some School Break Fun at the Long Island Aquarium.  Kids 5-11 will tour the Aquarium, feed the sting rays, check out the Sea Lion Show, watch a movie, make a craft and more!  You can send your child for the entire week, or just for a day or two.  You’ll be assured that your child is having a good time in a safe, fun and educational environment.  Your kids will have a great Winter Break! We are following all CDC guidelines for Covid safety.

$50/day or $200 for the entire week (5 days)
